Google's new Chromebook Plus category aims to simplify the laptop buying experience with strict hardware requirements, so that rather than getting lost in spec sheets, buyers can see the label and know it's powerful enough for full-time.
The Chromebook Plus laptops, starting at $400 and debuting from four manufacturers, come with exclusive perks such as access to Google Photos' Magic Eraser, File Sync, and discounts on LumaFusion and Adobe Photoshop.
Existing Chromebooks that meet the Chromebook Plus guidelines could also get updated via a system update, bringing the new features to current Chromebook owners.
